It must be Ivory soap because it is one of the only soaps that have tiny air pockets inside. Ivory soap will actually float when placed in water because of these pockets! As the soap heats up in the microwave, steam is created and pushes outward making the soap expand. This is a really fun and easy experiment to try with kids.
